Oakton Community College Social Psychology in the News Discussion

To earn full credit, you must 1) Find a News item that relates to Social Psychology; an online or print item is fine, so the source can be a newspaper, website, etc.; make a copy of the news item.  Please note: it has to be a news story! Do NOT use a scientific research article or a summary of a scientific research article (such as from Psychology Today).  2) Write a paraphrased description of the news item in one or two paragraphs.  Give details and do not assume that I will know what you are describing.  3) Write another one or two paragraphs explanation of how the news item relates to a social psychological principle/concept you learned in class/textbook.  Make sure you define and explain the psychological principle you are referencing.  Without this explanation, your assignment will not get credit.
