UNT Professionalism & Empowerment in The Nursing Profession Discussion

I’m working on a nursing multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

• Describe how nursing knowledge and theory development defines the profession of nursing.
• How can application of nursing theory benefit you personally and  empower/advance the nursing profession as a whole?  How has your answer  changed from your Week 1 discussion board post?(Week 1 response: Nursing theories provide guidance towards  better patient outcomes and are continuing to change as treatments  evolves. Personally, as I continue my goals to become a PMHNP, I would  continue to study new ways to treat my clients as based off nursing  theory as well as continued studies by continuing education. As nursing  advances, I will continue to keep myself updated on the latest research  as well as continuing to research on my own.)
