Texas Wesleyan University Project Communications and Risk Management Discussion

Project success depends on several factors, not the least of which are effective stakeholder communication and risk management. Using the appropriate stakeholder communication techniques may improve team collaboration, which could minimize project risk. 

For your initial post in the discussion forum, review the module lesson and address the following:

Briefly describe the project you identified in the Module 1 discussion

Identify the project stakeholders and at least one communication technique that could be applied to improve stakeholder communication. Be sure to explain why it would be successful for this type of project.

• Identify one project risk area from the textbook that could apply to this project and describe an example of how a risk response could be used successfully or unsuccessfully and how the use or lack of project communication techniques would affect the risk results 
• Then, respond to at least two of your peers who analyzed a different communication technique than the one you chose and address the following:    
• Do you agree or disagree with their analysis of the communication techniques they used to address the risk(s) identified?
