Assignment 1: Answer the uploaded files study questions 16 and 17

Assignment 2: Here is your assignment, which is due in Dropbox before midnight Sunday, April 17.

1. Watch the frame of the story (the first 15 minutes of 1001 Nights Stories Video)

a. Summarize this main frame part in one or two paragraphs, using the characters’ names, etc. (200 words minimum)

2. Click on the movie link in step 1 again and watch two stories of the Arabian Nights movie (Do not choose the frame that you watched in step 1)

3. For each of the two stories you watched or read,

a. Identify the story’s title, main plot, etc. (200 words minimum)

b. Describe the moral or the message of the story (75 words)

c. Explain how each story relates to the frame (identify specific scenes or parts); in other words, how is Shahrzad appealing to her audience (the king) by telling this story (be specific). (75 words)
