Within our Thompson (2022) text, read Chapter 7 Assurance of Learning Exercise #2 related to Walgreens’ mode(s) international market entry and respond to the following questions:

• What was Walgreens’ entry strategy designed to achieve?
• Why would this make sense for a company like Walgreens?
• Provide two recommendations on what Walgreens might do differently going forward with their entry strategy? Make sure you support your recommendations?
• Incorporate our coursework (Thompson text and other material) from this week into your above responses.

Take on the perspective of a transgender child, consider what the world would look like to you meaning would you feel safe, would you feel accepted, would you feel lost, would you feel rejected, would you feel hopeful or would you feel hopeless. Next consider what support you would need from your family and community.

2. Take on the perspective of the parent of a transgender child, consider the range of emotions you would experience, consider the grief you would have over your child not being as you had dreamed of, considered how your extended family and friends would or would not support your child, consider the amount of stigma and misinformation surrounding your child’s gender identity. What skills, resources, education, support would you need for yourself.

3. Now put both perspectives together and asses what you would do as the counselor to support this family.

I’m working on a sociology exercise and need support to help me learn.

For this activity, choose an object that represents your race or ethnic group.  Then with a friend (someone not related to you) have a show and tell!  Yup, like when you were in preschool.  This works better if you discuss with someone who is not from your own race or ethnic group.  Talk about why you chose this object to share with them and how it helps you talk to others about race and ethnicity. 

After you have talked about your object, fill out the activity sheet below.  Think about what aspect of race or ethnicity you actually talked about.  What areas are left out of the discussion (e.g. how it limits the discussion)? How do you think the relationship of the person you are with influences the conversation- what would the conversation look like if you were discussing with a stranger?

Students will compose a case study analysis of the couple or family dynamics

identified in a film of their choice. Students will conceptualize these identified

dynamics through the lens of an integrated theoretical framework based on the

Couple & Family Counseling Systems theories presented in class. This paper needs to

Description of the presenting problem history of the presenting problems, including any diversity issues that contribute to the problem.

In his State of the Union address in January 2002, the second President Bush stated that we must “prevent regimes that sponsor terror from threatening America or our friends and allies with weapons of mass destruction.” On the night of March 19, 2003, Operation Iraqi Freedom began, and by mid- April Saddam’s statues were toppling. Swift and short, on May 1, 2003, standing before a huge banner declaring “Mission Accomplished” aboard an aircraft carrier, President Bush declared victory in the Iraq War. Was this declaration premature?
