Question Description
I’m working on a literature writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
examine the various types of evidence that an informative speaker can use to develop an informative speech. You will also identify how your support materials can be used to demonstrate the points you will make in your speech as well as how support materials can be used to connect with your audience. Toward that end, you will also get feedback from the members of your small group about the kind of support material they would find most meaningful to hear from you.

Part 1: Initial Response
- Review the Supporting Materials chapter in our textbook where you will find an explanation of some of the types of supporting material that one should incorporate into a speech.
- Identify at least three types of supporting material that you intend to locate in your research. Among the choices highlighted in the chapter are brief, hypothetical and extended examples, statistics, and testimony of peers as well as from experts.
- As you describe each type of support you wish to use, identify its function within your speech as a way of proving or illustrating particular claims that you will make in the speech, and/or how you would employ it in other to connect with the experiences of your audience.
