George Mason University Public Health Paper

Please conduct balanced research and analysis related to a health insurance or managed care issue (i.e., logical, well researched, factual summaries of broad, complex topics). It is expected that the final version of the paper will contain an interpretation of the industry implications of the selected topic from a health services management/reimbursement/practice perspective.

Examples/Suggestions – Topics can examine the industry impact of health reform through a market sector (acute hospital care, physicians’ services, post acute/long-term care, or rehabilitation services) or categories of key health care organizations (for profit and not-for-profit hospital systems, payor organizations including government agencies, private insurance or physician practices.)
