HDCC Job Applications and Resumes Discussion

I’m working on a english question and need a sample draft to help me learn.

When you apply for a job, how honest should you be on your application and/or your resume? Is honest always the best policy? What if you just shade the truth a little? For example, let’s say the job requires that you know how to use AutoCad. You are currently taking a design course that teaches AutoCad, but you haven’t completed the course yet. You will know AutoCad by the time you start the job, so should you just add this as a skill on your resume?
