Anecdotal Records

Is a narrative account of an incident that indicates a child’s s development and is written shortly after a significant event. It can be an incident that indicates typical or atypical behavior of the child or even a humorous story. More importantly it needs the exact detail of how the incident occurred.

Please watch the video below and describe what you have observed (see the first box in the form). The focus should be on one child only. After you write the observation in the first box, write what you have learned about the child in the second box (see the second box in the form). In the last box, write the recommended activities that will support child’s development.
