Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to persuade the audience to do or support something or some viewpoint. Persuasion is the art of convincing others to give favorable attention to our point of view. For instance, you could develop a speech about why people should exercise for at least thirty minutes a day and persuade the audience to do so.
