What are some of the ways bipolar disorder can impact someone’s life?

Bipolar disorder is a disease that affects not only the individual but also their family and friends. Living with someone who has bipolar disorder usually entails learning to manage with the challenges that symptoms can bring, as well as supporting and coping with the person who is unwell. It can be very overwhelming for both the person and the people in their surroundings. Bipolar disorder illness can extend over a period of time of at least 2 weeks at a time. This time usually consists of poor energy, sorrow, or irritability. Not only does this illness affect the individual in their family, friends and support system, but it may also be affecting their day to day life. 

Who are the individuals affected by bipolar disorder?

Where could someone suffering with bipolar disorder get better help? 

How can you help yourself as an individual suffering from bipolar disorder? 

As an individual suffering from bipolar disorder you must  be able to recognize your stressors and triggers that you may have.
