Person’s with disabilities who live in a group home setting.

Select a community organization who sole purpose or has a department who sole purpose is policy creation and advocacy action. Students will interview someone from this organization/department. Students will create a media presentation that will be shared in class on the agency and interview.

Please make sure to include the following:

? Identify four main points that explains the agency stance on a selected social justice issue;
? Identify why the person got involved in combating the issue;
? Overview on how they view the issue;
? Identify who they believe is impacted and why this matter;
? Tactics used that have been both successful and unsuccessful to combat the issue;
? What they hope to achieve in the future regarding this issue;
? Agency or organization agenda regarding policy change on the issue;
? What the student action plan would be if they were leading a movement to combat this concern.
