In general, human nature tends to be reactionary as opposed to precautionary (i.e. people tend to take action only when it is necessary). However, in light of the increasing natural disasters that have occurred globally in the last few decades this general attitude is now proving to be highly unacceptable.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Discuss an example of community (your choice) preparedness for a potential natural disaster (hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fires, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc) based on previous experiences.
