I’m working on a social science discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

For this discussion, we will consider the role of correctional staff in terms of programs and rehabilitation. Many state correctional officer jobs do not a require college education. Federal correctional officer jobs do require a college degree. Do you think that a college education should be a requirement for all correctional officer jobs?
