Your first homework assignment for the semester is question #3.  This question is not based solely on your opinion but instead your understanding of the chapter.  Please refer to pages 12-14 of the fourth edition.

How would you balance cultural relativism and universal human rights?  Do you think you could remain neutral in your judgement of all the behaviors you might see in a small-scale society?

Much like the Introductory Quiz, this assignment will act as a roll call.  At the end of the week I will take roll based on who submitted the homework assignment and who did not.  If you submitted it by the due date you will be marked present, if not you will be marked absent for the week.
