The Progression of Cells from Metaphase to Anaphase Question

Question Description

I’m working on a genetics question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

Taxol is a chemotherapy drug that prevents cell division. It does so by
preventing microtubules from shortening, and stabilizes them into rigid filaments.
Assuming this drug is given when a cell is in metaphase, what stage of mitosis
specifically do you expect this to prevent from occurring normally? Briefly explain why.
